Should the government force people to marry each other?

Unmarried couples in Burundi who are living together had time until the end of the year 2017 to get married, as part of a government campaign “to moralize society” and tackle the population explosion in the country. The Nkurunziza administration had said that couples that fail to get married by the deadline would face legal action.
