Angolan president marks 100 days in office.


Angolan President Joao Lourenco has marked 100 days in office that have been marred by sacking of his predecessor Eduardo dos Santos appointees that include his daughter Isabel dos Santos as head of the country’s state oil company Sonangol. Lourenco vowed to tackle corruption and nepotism during his tenure. Despite vast mineral wealth that include gas and oil most Angolans live in abject poverty. Could this be the turning point of his presidency?
